Creating a Training Plan that Works for You
Because we believe every dog is different we know that in the box training does not work for most dogs. Dog training isn’t linear, you can’t connect the dots from one to the other to get to the perfect dog. In truth, dog training requires creativity, because what one person's perfect dog looks like isn’t the same as another. Like breeds, personalities and desires are unique and vary from team to team. For that reason, and because of varying skill levels we recommend that each of our clients begin with an introductory One on One training session. These sessions allow us to create a training plan that is as unique as you and your dog. These sessions are ideally completed when you first bring your dog home, whether that is an adult dog or a puppy.
Our Games for Life Classes are ongoing classes that accept intakes once per month. These classes are designed for dogs of all skill levels and are adapted to the dogs currently enrolled. Due to the nature of how our classes are run they require at least one prior training session so we can evaluate your dog before attending and select the time slot that is best for you both. Special accommodations may be made if you have been evaluated by our instructor (see below).
We recognize that many dogs have had previous training and may be ready for title evaluation or certifications. If you are looking for a Canine Good Citizen (including Community Canine or Urban) or Trick (AKC or DMWYD) Evaluation we can accommodate you here.
