Creating a Training Plan that Works for You
Building a Foundation
Because we believe every dog is different we know that in the box training does not work for most dogs. Dog training isn’t linear, you can’t connect the dots from one to the other to get to the perfect dog. In truth, dog training requires creativity, because what one person's perfect dog looks like isn’t the same as another. Like breeds, personalities and desires are unique and vary from team to team. For that reason, and because of varying skill levels we recommend that each of our clients begin with an introductory One on One training session. These sessions allow us to create a training plan that is as unique as you and your dog.
Introductory Puppy Foundations
Often we have to wait until puppies are old enough for their vaccinations before attending puppy classes. With our introductory package we come to you and help you get started training your puppy in your home.
Because we create training plans unique to our clients our training schedules are based on the needs of our current clients. Upcoming classes can be found here. Please understand that each of these classes requires at least one prior training session so we can evaluate your dog before attending. Special accommodations may be made if you have been evaluated by our instructor (see below).
We recognize that many dogs have had previous training and may be ready for title evaluation or certifications. If you are looking for a Canine Good Citizen (including Community Canine or Urban) or Trick (AKC or DMWYD) Evaluation we can accommodate you here.
